Dipl. arch. Vincent Robert Marani, AIA

Partner

Architect and partner at Marani Architects and a former partner in Cigler Marani Architects, Vincent arrived in Prague in 2000 with a wealth of international experience on world-class projects. Whilst working with the American company Murphy / Jahn Inc., Vincent‘s had been in particular responsible for architectural design on a range of large-scale projects that include some of the world‘s modern landmark buildings.

Vincent is proficient in architectural design, project management, overseeing and administering the construction of architectural designs and technically-specific details. With twenty-six years’ experience on international projects, in the United States and Europe Vincent has acquired international contacts and an understanding of differing codes and conducts in various regions.

Vincent is a registered Architect in Illinois, USA and member of the European Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Vincent was also the President of the European Chapter of the AIA in 2013.

Work History

Employed by a variety of American architecture and engineering firms during his university studies Vincent worked for Bayside Engineering Associates, Boston, Massachusetts; Stenbro Associates, Chicago, Illinois; Daniel Wheeler Architect, Chicago, Illinois and Christopher H. Rudolph & Associates, Chicago, Illinois. On completion of his studies, Vincent worked with Murphy / Jahn Inc. both in their Chicago, USA and Berlin, Germany offices. Moving to Prague in 2000 he started with CMC Architects, leaving the firm in November 2001 to partner with Jakub Cigler at Cigler Marani Architects; in 2011 they established a subsidiary architecture company OOO CMA based in Moscow. In 2015 Cigler Marani Architects was restructured into separate companies.
